How long has Jati Indah been in business?
We have been in the furniture manufacturing business for about 30 years. From our humble beginning in 1980 serving local hospitality clients in Bali, we have since expanded to manufacturing case goods line for hospitality and residential markets for clients worldwide.
How is Jati Indah different than other furniture manufacturers?
We specialize in producing premium furniture made of solid wood. Unlike other manufacturers who use engineered wood or particle board to make their furniture, at Jati Indah we avoid using those cheap materials in our furniture.
Instead, we use quality solid hardwood when making our furniture. The result is furniture that lasts longer and our customers have been satisfied with for years.
Another point of differentiation. Our niche is in product categories which are not well-served by other furniture manufacturers.

Are your furniture more expensive because you only use solid wood?
Not necessarily. On the contrary we find that our furniture’s prices are comparable to others in the same quality segment. We have an efficient production system which allows us to produce our furniture in a cost-efficient manner and pass on these savings to our customers. We don’t have to compromise on using cheaper materials to deliver cost-competitive products.
How can Jati Indah offer such competitive prices?
We are a vertically-integrated manufacturer. We perform all our manufacturing activities under one roof, from preparation of wood material, kiln dry, all the way until the finishing process. Therefore, we can minimize our production costs, and more importantly, keep closer eyes on our quality.

We only sell to the trade community, such as interior designers & consultants, furniture distributors, importers, wholesalers and retailers. Basically, those who can purchase in larger quantity to meet our minimum order requirements.
Currently, our main market is the United States, but we are always looking to expand our business to other countries by partnering with able & qualified companies in the targeted countries.
In addition, we do contract manufacturing for hospitality clients such as hotels and resorts worldwide.
